Flower Child – Sweet And Sustainable Baby Shop At Collaroy

Hello from the far, far, very far, north of Scotland. We’ve come up to see my sisters and all the cousins for a few days.

We’re off to the playground at the beach this arvo, it’s a VERY long way from Collaroy on Sydney’s Northern Beaches where this lovely baby shop is. The wet/dry bag that’s been given as a prize is a really handy things to have. Good luck!

I’ve found a baby shop that’s so cute and handy and sweet and interesting, that it’s almost enough to make me wish I had a baby again.

But not quite!  Can’t wait to be a granny though.

Love these freezer pods and squeezies, wish they’d been around when I had tiny ones.

Flower Child is in Collaroy on Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches, with a new store coming soon in Glebe.

Address is:  Shop 2, 2 Fielding St, Collaroy (behind the IGA) – just across the road from beautiful Collaroy Beach.

There’s also a very busy and popular online store.

There are so many cloth nappies to choose from, and the staff in the shop can give your baby a personal nappy fitting.

Owner Sal is a cloth nappy expert and passionate supporter of practical, sustainable parenting. And great style.

We were sent a Planetwise Wet/Dry Waterproof bag which we’ve been using for several weeks now.

These are so pretty, but forget that, they’re super practical.  You can put your wet stuff in the bag after swimming or, even better, put your dry stuff in the bag and not worry that wet towels will make it wet.

For example, I have popped my iPad and purse into the wet/dry waterproof bag and then thrown that into a huge beach bag full of wet stuff – no worries.

The wet/dry bags come in medium, which we used, or a large size which is big enough for cossies, towels, googles, the lot.  You can also use it for sweaty gym kit, yukky nappies, as a chilly bag… the possibilities are endless.

Here’s wee Minnie the Minx with out wet/dry bag, we used it ALL THE TIME on holiday in Bali,

Good luck!

Here’s to cute babies, and lovely things for babies that are both sustainable and sweet.
