Kids Build Together – Block Play in Richmond

Here’s a great idea for young children, and something that’s really a new idea for Australia.
Kids Play Together is a block play centre, where children aged 0 – 7 years come to build and make, alongside their parents and carers.

Just opened, Kids Play Together has been created by Carolyn Galbraith, a teacher and mother of three.
Carolyn writes:
“People learn best when they’re making meaningful things to share with others. And this is especially true of children.
Learning by Making is about valuing the process of making (a sculpture, a dance, a story); about learning how to do things, not just facts about things.”
Read more about the Learning by Making idea on Carolyn’s website here.
