What's On For Kids In Sydney: 4th – 11th May 2016

Sunday is Mother’s Day!

Personally I have a mixed relationship with Mother’s Day, always preferring to keep it simple.

But let’s toss that aside for the moment and look at what’s on.

The Mother’s Day Classic is an annual fun run for mums and families. This year there are events in The Domain and in Parramatta Park. There’s a 4km walk, a 4km run, a 7km walk and an 8km run. Something for everyone and all for a good cause.

Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and High Tea ideas: you can’t go past this fab list from Ellaslist.

So much art to see around Sydney! The website is very detailed and can help you make sense of what is on. Surprisingly there’s no section of the site focussing on kids, though there is an education section.

“The Asia Pacific region’s largest contemporary visual arts event features 83 artists hailing from 35 countries and is presented free to the public across seven venues or ‘Embassies of Thought’ and multiple ‘in-between spaces’ around the inner city, from Friday 18 March until 5 June 2016. The exhibition is supplemented by a comprehensive schedule of public programs including daily guided tours, artist and curator-led talks, lectures, workshops, salons, reading groups and gatherings.”
