Bimbadgen Moscato Review and Giveaway {Ended}
Here’s a post for wine lovers, keen to try a fresh young wine, just recently bottled by Bimbadgen.
There’s a lovely giveaway of four bottles of this new Moscato below,but first, the tasting.
Now it’s always a great thing to have friends you can rely on.
And when I asked my friend L if she could taste this wine on this blog’s behalf, I knew she wouldn’t let me down.
L is a working mum of twins the same age as mine, and she knows all about the benefits of a glass of wine on a Friday night.
Here’s what she said about this Moscato:
It has been a few years since I visited Bimbadgen and although I didn’t try any moscato, I do remember liking their wine and was excited to try this one.
Taking my new career of wine critic very seriously, I decided to hold a focus group (or at least I shared it with friends).
This is a pink, subtlety sparkling moscato, which although sweet was not sickly. We all agreed that it would be beautiful on a warm summer’s day, especially on a child-free girls luncheon or as a champagne substitute for those not overly keen on the real thing.
Two of the girls said one or two glass would be their limit but I could (and did) drink a few more !!

For those who don’t know Bimbadgen, it is a very beautiful winery in the heart of the Hunter Valley here in NSW. Bimbadgen has a Cellar Door, the excellent (I hear) Esca Bimbadgen Restaurant Cafe, an amphitheatre, tasting rooms and accommodation.
My friend Ms Slimalicious has stayed and reviewed Bimbadgen on her blog here.
