Collaroy Rock Pool: Emptied For Cleaning Photos

 
  

Excuse me if I am going a bit overboard with the enthusiasm about Sydney’s splendid rock pools.

It’s a passionate love affair, the type that can bore those who don’t share it.  Forgive me.

Did you know that councils look after the rock pools in their area?  In summer the pools are emptied and cleaned out once a week.

The twins and I were down at Collaroy at 7am the other morning before school – don’t ask – and they just loved galloping around in the empty rock pool.

Plus we saw a crab, and it waved at us. 

 Love seeing something new in Sydney.

Life’s all about the simple pleasures, don’t you reckon?

Especially so early in the morning!
