Commissioning Writers For This Blog – Do You Know A Fab Family-Friendly Sydney Spot?

Good morning!

The good news is that this blog has been earning some money this year.

And the even better news is that I am going to plough some of the income back into the blog via the pockets of some Sydney-based mum and dad writers.

What a good plan!

I’m commissioning some blog posts and photos of family-friendly places in Sydney. These will run in December and January when I will be away for a few weeks.

The payment will not be huge: $100 per 400 -600 word post plus 3-5 photos.

That’s not much but it’s OK in an online environment where big players pay less. Or so I hear.

And trust me I write for a lot less.

I’m looking for posts about your favourite playgrounds, especially the larger and fenced playgrounds, and about child friendly cafés and restaurants.  I have a list of beaches and bike tracks that I need covered too.

There’s a real format to these posts and a template for the text.

Anyway, I have a proper brief of what I am looking for.

It feels good to know some other writer parents will be contributing to this blog.

I have never commissioned anything before so please bear with me as I learn the ropes!
