Disconnect to Reconnect

Now don’t faint, but I’m going to be posting a bit less over the next week or two.

It’s not because I’m too busy ….. it’s because I need to slow down…

It’s come to me with a blinding flash that life’s too busy, too stuffed and too hectic. It’s making me feel unwell and it’s detrimental to the whole family.

Being without wifi proved that online connection disconnects our family from each other. We’re quite strict with the kids and actually with ourselves too… but it’s amazing how positive an impact having no wifi at home at all has been on family togetherness.

I’ve done digital detoxes in the past – why has it been so long since the last??

Anyway, for the moment it’s just a digital diminishment... do what has to be done, don’t overdo anything.

Fresh air, friends, coffee… relax, stay still, mindfulness…

All those good things to counteract the general craziness of modern life in Australia and the particular stressors going on right now.

Hope your life is not too stressy… and that you have great self care going on whether it is or not.

Take it easy and look after yourself,

And let me know, how do you look after yourself?

And do you destress by going offline?
