Godiva Chocolates Are Good For The Brain

It’s the last night of a bloody long haul… and my sense of humour is in tatters. Fly safely, my husband, we need you home.
My Intn’l Man of Mystery brings a small box of Godiva chocolates for me every time he comes home from his FIFO job in Kurdistan.
Everybody needs a treat sometimes and these chocolates are my most favourite treat ever.

After five weeks of solo parenting four demanding children, a wee box of choccies is the LEAST I deserve.
I never share them with the kids… is that harsh?

Godiva Chocolates, some of the best chocolates in the world. Almost perfect, but tragically not fair trade. Godiva is committed to sustainable production though, so that’s good.

And only about 70 calories per chocolate.
Easy to work 70 calories off… and well worth it…. bit trickier if you’ve eaten ten or more but…. can be done. Salads and soups next day and you’re home and hosed.

If you’re going to indulge, indulge in the best… a little goes so much further than the mass produced not-chocolates.

I took these photos a while ago and pulled them out tonight to edit them up a little and to drool in anticipation.
Of course, the thought of my beloved fella walking through the door is also making me drool – darling, it’s true!
But don’t forget the chocolates!
What’s your favourite treat?
Are you a quality rather than quantity girl like me?
How’s your sense of humour going today?
Happy chocolate munching
