Gusto On The Beach At South Curl Curl

Love a cafe right by the beach.

I’m updating this post as this cafe is under new management and has a lovely new look.

As you can see, at this cafe, it’s definitely food and drink with a sea view.  All the facts and info after a few more photos.

The cafe is in the SLSC at the rear on the left here, gorgeous old building.

Grainy shot on a stormy day

Old shot of the cafe, the seats have changed these days.

When our older boys were little we used to bring them to Nippers here, so South Curly beach and this cafe and kiosk have a place in our hearts.

Now the kids are all at school, we sometimes sneak down to read the papers when hubby is home.

It’s never often enough.

Shhh…. don’t tell the kids!

A dip in the pool, followed by lunch and a coffee… it’s the life of Riley, I’m telling you

Chicken sandwich – you can’t go wrong

Gusto On The Beach at South Curl Curl SLSC

South Curl Curl SLSC, Carrington Parade, South Curl Curl

Open: Seven days, 8am to 3pm or 4pm depending on season.

Here’s a cafe and takeaway kiosk with marvellous views up the lovely Northern Beaches coastline. It’s in the SLSC building at South Curl Curl, with indoors and outdoors seating and the sand is right there.

Great spot if your children are old enough to play on the beach by themselves, they can whizz off once they have scoffed their meal.

The new inside decor is lovely, with scatter cushions and the white wooden panelling giving it a really beachy feel.

The cafe can get terribly busy, as can the kiosk, especially on Sunday mornings in summer when Nippers swarm the beach.

During the week it’s all much more laid back.  Breakfasts, lunches, drinks and snacks are served.  Check out the latent menu in the photo, but expect changes too.

This is the flagship cafe of Gusto Coffee, a well known cafe which roasts their beans close by in Mona Vale. So you can expect a top notch coffee here.

Children’s Menu: No

Highchairs: Yes

Toilets/ Baby Change: Toilets are very close by in the SLSC, no change tables.

Mum’s Report: We love South Curl Curl and one of its best attractions is that we can sit down at the cafe or at least get a takeaway coffee and ice blocks for the kids.

Extra:  Read the post about South Curl Curl beach and rock pool here, plus pictures of the excellent boardwalk to the south from Curly here.

Parking: There is a small carpark down beside the SLSC, otherwise street parking on Carrington Parade.

Where do you go for a treat?

Do you love an ocean pool like I do.

Happy cafe hunting,
