Healthy Mum – 5 Funny Photos That Will Help You Lose Weight – Hello Sydney KidsHello Sydney Kids

Now don’t laugh, I’m serious!  Don’t you think that the messages we give ourselves about the food we eat are profoundly important?

I’m changing the way I think about food.  Stop laughing, I really am and you can too!

We just need to think carefully about the messages we are giving yourselves.

Don’t think: “I can’t eat that chocolate, I mustn’t, I shouldn’t… I will.”

Think: “I’ll have a bit but I don’t need the whole block.”

Here are some of the ways I’ve been changing my thinking, all part of a healthy balanced diet and of my lucky win health kick.

Carrot cake at a cafe, just a small slice for us please.

A HUGE bowl of steamed veggies – we love it!

We eat cupcakes, oh yes we do, but we don’t scoff the lot.  Just the one is fine for us, thanks, that’s lovely.

Do you give yourself mixed messages about food?  Can you change your thinking?  Have you done so already?

I’m joining up to Maxabell’s Grateful linky, because I really am grateful to have a sense of humour… and also deeply grateful to my iPhone and its apps which have made these visual prompts, have amused myself no end.  Next I intend to be grateful to blu-tack, when I stick them up around the kitchen!
