I Wasn't Cut Out For The Life Of A Taxi Driver!

Yesterday Mum’s Taxi fired up for a early school drop at 7am and was finally parked at 9.30pm after bagpipe band practice.

In between there were three other trips to school, a doctor’s appointment for a twin, two twins to one dentist, a drop off of one husband to pick up another car… and… not surprisingly… a fuel stop.

I’m over all that sitting around in traffic, which is why I’m one of the few parents I know who is positively enthusiastic about her teens learning to drive.

But, as with all things with our Giant Teen16, it’s not going to be quite as straightforward for our family as it is for most.

I’ve got a post over at Village Voices – Teaching Teens to Drive – the Additional Needs edition.

Would love you to pop over and have a read… and would love even more to have a comment or two over there. It feels lonely without them!

Teaching the kids to drive: are you for or against?
