Monster Muesli Breakfast In A Bag Review

What do you feed the kids for breakfast when you’re in a massive hurry?
We have at least one morning a week when some of us need to get up and go super fast. Sometimes I get ready the night before and have muesli packed in little thermos flasks ready to go. Not often though!
More often we have an Up and Go drink pack… which the kids love but never feels like proper food to me.

Cue Monster Muesli getting in touch and asking if we’d like to try out some of their new Breakfast In A Bag single portion packs.
Cue me saying: ‘Yes please!!
The cool thing about these single serves is that you don’t need a bowl. You can just tear off the top, pour in the milk and then get stuck in. Good for when we need breakfast in the car on the way to early drop offs at school.
The twins have only recently started eating muesli and get a bit leery if there are too many green seeds. But they were delighted with this brand, especially with the Berry Muesli.

I like the porridge on a chilly morning.

Dexbox scoffing his muesli, he liked it cos it reminded him of being on cadet camp and eating muesli when starving hungry.

Now don’t be silly son, I’m trying to take proper photos here… both boys were being complete posers when I took these shots!
Monster Muesli – A Sydney Family Business
The Monster Health Food Company was begun over 20 years ago here in Sydney by Kim and Trevor Lauman. Healthy breakfast foods are the company’s speciality, with an emphasis on Gluten Free, Nut Free, Preservative Free and Wheat Free.
Choice magazine reviewed 159 mueslis in 2011 and two of the Monster Muesli products ended up in the Top 20 for ‘Best of all nutritional worlds’:’ the Sports and the Hi-Fibre varieties.
It’s good to support a family company whose offices and factory are based here in Sydney.
Breakfast In A Bag mueslis come in packs of 10 and cost $21. You can buy them from the Monster Muesli website and P + P is free.
(There was a giveaway with this post which has now ended.)
