Mothers Day

It’s Mother’s Day in the UK, great timing as I am here staying with my own Mum.  My two sisters are here too, so there were four mothers round the kitchen table this morning.  All nattering.

We’re spending a lot of time sorting through old family slides; the history of our family in photos since the early 1960’s.  Here’s a beautiful photo of my mum from 1963.  Mum was a mother of one at that time, my sister was a baby and maybe I was already growing in her tummy as she stroked that little cat.

Happy Mother’s Day from the UK and most of all to my Mum.
