The Blogger Boss Course – My review
I’ve just finished a REALLY USEFUL blogging course and am keen to share what I’ve learned.
Have you ever thought of starting a blog or website of your own? Or do you have a blog that needs a boost?
I’d suggest the Blogger Boss course.

Here’s the number one reason to do the Blogger Boss course… it’s the founder and coding dynamo, Madeleine Burke.

Madeleine has combined her technical expertise with her blogging and content skills to create the course. That’s pretty smart.
But she’s also fantastically helpful and available to answer all sorts of questions.

When you join the course, you have access to the Facebook group, and that’s where I tended to ask things, e.g.

On the course, you’ll learn how to monetise your blog using things like adverts, directories and affiliate adverts and links (I have some on this post, by the way.)
I already had affiliates through DGM Performance but have added some from the Commission Factory too.
Here’s a list of all the topics covered.

Why I did the Blogger Boss Course
This blog you’re reading was set up by a pro web designer, and has been going for four years. I’ve always been a bit frustrated that I didn’t understand a lot of the inner workings.
I wanted to tame my fear of tech.
But I also am planning to set up a new website from scratch later this year. To have someone set it up for me would cost minimum $600 and probably more like $1000.
So I decided to invest $399 in the Blogger Boss course instead.
And now – yes! – I do feel confident that I can set up a brand new site myself. I know I can also give it all the bells and whistles to start making it income-generating from the get go.
I’ve been fiddling around on a test site, trying all sorts of themes and practising using the CSS code we’ve learned about.

Here’s me learning how to make my own pop-up newsletter signup box. This test site is at www.isitjustme.tv, but it’s just for playing around.
There have also been great things going on on Sydney Kids Food + Travel.
As well as adding new affiliate adverts, I’ve been using Coschedule which has helped me get some big spikes in traffic from facebook – who knew those past posts could prove so popular? Next up, I need to set up Tailwind for Pinterest.

Thank you Madeleine Burke for these lovely traffic spikes, all thanks to following your top tips on the course.
As a course member, I have access to all the modules forever, so if I can’t remember something, I just quickly go back and follow the simple steps laid out online.
And I know Madeleine will be making additions and improvements all the time, all of which past users can access.
The next Blogger Boss 9-week course starts on 31st August, find more information on the Blogger Boss website here.

You can read another review about the course here on Country Life Experiment- How I Redesigned My Blog – And You Can Too.
I don’t write much about blogging here, but this course has really opened my eyes and given me confidence and I wanted to share that with others.
If only it had been around four years ago when I started!
