Goodness me, what a diverse bunch of events there are in Sydney this weekend.
From the Teddy Bears Day Out to a Medieval Jousting Competition, you can’t complain there’s no variety of options!
Myself and the twins are off on a ghost tour this weekend at Q Station. Do tell us what you’re up to in the comments below, would love to hear.

Fire and Rescue Open Day
When: Saturday 21st May 10am – 2pm
A children’s favourite for many years (my big boys especially loved this), fire stations throw open their doors this Saturday and invite families to look around.
There are tours of the station, demonstrations and opportunities to climb aboard the fire trucks. Also great opportunities to ask questions about fire safety in the home.
Fire and Rescue NSW website is here, you can enter your postcode to find your nearest participating fire station

There’s a Clydesdale heavy horse display, the Mt Druitt Indigenous Children’s Choir, pipe bands, woodchopping and much, much more. Enjoy the carnival atmosphere, and bring your bikes to enjoy the bike track and playgrounds at the St Ives Showground too.

So much art to see around Sydney! The website is very detailed and can help you make sense of what is on. Surprisingly there’s no section of the site focussing on kids, though there is an education section.
