Chinatown Lion Dance: Sunday 7th February
Part of the Sydney Chinese New Year Festival which has so much going on, there’s a lion dance starting from Dixon Street Haymarket and going hrough Sussex, Hay, Little Hay, Goulburn, George, Pitt, Campbell and Thomas Streets and Ultimo Road on Sunday from 12pm – 4pm.

Lunar Markets at Pyrmont Park – 14th – 14th February
This is a pop-up food festival featuring Asian cuisine, plus bars and entertainment.
Monday-Wednesday: 5-9pm
Thursday-Friday: 5-10pm
Saturday: 4pm-10pm

Catch a movie, eat and drink and be entertained at Sydney’s newest outdoor cinema.

Sydney Waitangi Festival at Holroyd Gardens Merrylands: Saturday 6th February
This annual festival commemorates the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi by Maori chiefs and representatives of the British crown on 6th February 1840.
There is great family focused event featuring a full day of outstanding live acts and arts and crafts stalls.
Waitangi Festival runs from 9am-5pm. Gold coin donation on entry.

West Side Story at Riverside Theatres
This classic love story is set set on New York’s Upper West Side in the mid-1950s where racial and social tensions run high. This is the original production and will appeal to families with older children.
