What's On For Kids In Sydney: 2nd – 9th June

The Big Dry
This is the world premier of the adaptation of Tony Davis’ novel, and is aimed at young people aged 12+, and adults , of course!
It’s a co-production between the Australian Theatre For Young People and Ensemble Theatre,
Teenagers will enjoy this thriller, set in a future world where water is scarce and life precarious.

So much art to see around Sydney! The website is very detailed and can help you make sense of what is on. Surprisingly there’s no section of the site focussing on kids, though there is an education section.
“The Asia Pacific region’s largest contemporary visual arts event features 83 artists hailing from 35 countries and is presented free to the public across seven venues or ‘Embassies of Thought’ and multiple ‘in-between spaces’ around the inner city, from Friday 18 March until 5 June 2016. The exhibition is supplemented by a comprehensive schedule of public programs including daily guided tours, artist and curator-led talks, lectures, workshops, salons, reading groups and gatherings.”

Convict Footprints: Rebellion!
June 25th -26th A ‘living history’ theatre production at Castle Hill Heritage Park. The show tells the history of the Irish convict uprising on 1804 – on an epic scale. Open to public on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays. Group bookings only Monday to Thursday.
