Fresh Food Markets in Sydney – How To Find Your Local Market
Sydney has many, many markets and most are very family friendly. Find details on where to find them below.
Here’s a wee visual tribute to my local market to give you a flavour of what you can find at your local fresh food market:

Weird and wonderful mushrooms, including some wild fairy ring type ones. I will make a mushroom omelette deluxe for hubby and I. He might be horrified at the look of it, but it will taste delicious.

Chilli and garlic bread, tangy and outrageous! Hubby and I ate it with soup for Sunday lunch. Giant Teenager loved it too, the younger three were appalled.

Fast food for hubby one night when I cook meat for the kids. This is red capsicum sauce and chilli linguine.

Meat for myself and the kids, wagu and mushroom sausages, rissoles and some gravy beef for the slow cooker.

Passionfruit curd tart. It’s all been gobbled up already!
I also bought hot-smoked salmon, four cheese ravioli, eggs, plus fruit and veggies. This is the first time I’ve basically taken the weekly supermarket budget and spent it at the market. I do a weekly meal plan, so I got home with my treasures, laid them out and wrote it up- easy!
